University of Wollongong Graduate School General Information
Overview
University of Wollongong Graduate School (UOW) is a university that established its branch overseas in Malaysia for the first time by acquiring an existing Malaysian university.
The predecessor, KDU University, was one of Malaysia's largest education groups, alongside Sunway University and Taylor's University. However, it failed in raising the university's level and internationalization. Moreover, the founder of KDU University was aging and gave up on solving the problems independently. Therefore, they decided to sell it to the University of Wollongong in Australia, starting a new path at the end of 2019.
While the overseas university branch offers the same programs as the main campus and grants the same degrees as the main campus, the University of Wollongong Graduate School Malaysia does not currently grant degrees from the University of Wollongong in Australia due to these circumstances.
To develop into the University of Wollongong Graduate School (UOW) and improve the quality of education, there are considerations for establishing double degree programs where students can obtain a degree from the University of Wollongong in Australia.
At the same time, within five years, they aim to transform from University College to University.
Additionally, they are focusing on recruiting international students and aiming to become an international university.
This university is expected to evolve in the future!

The University of Wollongong Graduate School (UOW) is located in the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur.
There is no nearest station within walking distance, but there is a small shopping mall next to the school. You can purchase daily necessities at the shopping mall next to the school.

Dormitory
The dormitory is located within the university campus, allowing you to move to the classroom building without going outside.
Only the air conditioning fee is billed separately. The dormitory uses a prepaid card system for air conditioning. Insert the prepaid card into the slot to operate the air conditioning. If your balance runs out, you can recharge it at the dedicated terminal inside the dormitory for continued use.
